CLASSIC DESIGN HEADERS UNCOATED

Since 1954, Hedman Hedders has been manufacturing performance driven headers right here in the Good Ol USA! As the original mass producer of headers, no other manufacturer can claim to have more experience or header design knowledge than Hedman Hedders.

Hedman Hedders Classic Design header models are built using mild steel components. Company utilize 18g or 16g tubes (depending on application), and 5/16" thick head flanges to provide a balance between performance and affordability. The Classic headers in this section are shipped with a temporary black paint that protects the product from surface corrosion while in inventory and during transport. All Hedman Hedders, however, are available with Hedmans original HTC Ceramic-metallic finish.

CLASSIC DESIGN HEADERS WITH CERAMIC COATING

Hedman started the coated hedder trend in the early 80s, and has perfected the process it borrowed from the aerospace industry. Hedmans HTC Ceramic-Metallic Coating may look great, but without it, uncoated hedders dont stand a chance against the intense temperatures and corrosive elements they encounter every time you take tot he road or track.

HTC insulates the hedder tubes, keeping temperatures in the tubes higher for a faster exhaust flow, and reduced under hood temperatures. With the exception of the coating, these headers are constructed using the same materials as, and are backed by the same warranty as their Classic uncoated headers. ULTRA DUTY HEADERS

Headers are subjected to some of the most torturous conditions found anywhere on your vehicle. Extreme gas temperatures at the exhaust ports, torque and vibration from high performance and towing applications, even mud, rain and everyday road grime all contribute to the destruction of your header investment.Hedmans

The coating used on Hedman ELITE headers is covered for FIVE FULL YEARS, while their construction is backed by a limited lifetime warranty.

STAINLESS STEEL HEADERS

Although most stainless exhaust products are manufactured using less durable 409 stainless to save money, Hedman has chosen to use 100% 304 stainless steel to manufacture its stainless headers. The higher chromium and nickel content of T-304 stainless steel offers far superior strength and corrosion protection compared to T-409 stainless, which still allows surface rust to form. Hedman 304 stainless headers are the best of the best, when it comes to headers, and were so confident of the quality company put into every header they build that they are warrantied for life. 304s are built with hefty 3/8" thick stainless flanges and mandrel bent tubes. All 304s are available in raw stainless, or with Herdmans HTC ceramic-metallic coating.

LS SWAP HEADERS

Huslers MUSCLE RODS Hedders and LS Conversion Kits have been developed together on the car or truck they are intended for. This means they work, right out of the box. Weve done all the trial and error work, so you dont waste time performing unnecessary modifications, or returning parts that dont work together.

Muscle Rods Hedders and LS conversion mount kits are available for nearly 2 dozen 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s vehicles, each with mid-length, long tube and stepped tube options. All MUSCLE RODS Hedders are available uncoated, or with Hedmans original HTC (silver color) or Huslers NEW BLACK MAXX (Black color) Ceramic Coating.

Hedman Huslers race headers are manufactured using mild steel flanges, and like every set of Hedman and Hedman Husler Race Headers, each primary tube is mandrel bent to provide the most efficient evacuation of exhaust gasses from you engine. All Husler models are available in raw mild steel, or with Hedman HTC silver coating, or Huslers BLACK MAXX Black ceramic coating.
