MotoRad of America warrants that all of its thermostats and caps are manufactured to be free from defects in material and workmanship. If any products sold by MotoRad of America are proven to be defective when sold, then MotoRad of America will replace such products or credit the distributor for the purchase price. Replacement/credit privileges apply only to products proven to be defective within the warranty period. The duration of the warranty period for MotoRad of America’s thermostats and caps is one year from the date of purchase.
The replacement/credit privileges does not apply to (a) accidents, alterations, negligence, misuse, wrong application or incorrect application which results in or contributes to product failure (b) products installed on racing, off-road, marine or industrial motor vehicles. Except as specifically set forth above, no other warranty, express or implied, is applicable to the products. If warranty is requested, it must be requested within 30 days after the discovery of the damage and MotoRad of America’s Warranty Claim Form must accompany the request. The MotoRad of America produced part, with the original invoice from the retailer or installer from whom the product was purchased, must also accompany the Warranty Claim Form. MotoRad of America’s technical services department reserves the right to examine the engine or equipment to determine the amount of damage and/or weather the damage was the result of a defective MotoRad of America product.
