Demon Eyes/Angel Eyes, etc. are an attractive and legal alternative to the mundane OEM daytime running lights. Developed originally by BMW, the "Halos" surround the outside edge of the reflectors in your headlight housings. When your car is on, the rings will light up just like your normal DRLs would. You can choose to deactivate the DRLs (that bulb will still be used as your high beam) or use the DRLs in conjunction with your Halos.
WHAT ARE THE RINGS MADE FROM?
ORACLE SMD - or "Surface Mount Diode" Halos utilize an advanced type of LED chips that can produce brilliant light output while consuming a small amount of power. The SMD chips are installed onto a CAD designed 6-layer PCB (Printed Circuit Board), which is very sturdy and will not break if pressured. The PCB can easily be mounted to a headlight housing using the pre-installed 3M adhesive tape backing.
ORACLE PLASMA - Plasma LED Halo Rings are the latest advancement in Solid-State Lighting Technology. The Plasma Halos feature dozens of semiconductors which make direct contact to the circuit board, essentially turning the entire Plasma ring into one LED. The design ensures optimal thermal management, high packing density, and overall high performance light output. This new technology is not only brighter than previous LED Halo Rings, but it also features very consistent light output and appears as one solid ring rather than a ring of individual rings.
ORACLE CCFL - Headlight Halo Kits use Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lighting XE technology, which delivers a smooth and even illumination. CCFL Halos have an expected lifetime of 50,000 hours of continuous use and come with a lifetime warranty. CCFL Halos require an external power supply. ORACLE "XE" power inverters are included in every ORACLE CCFL Halo Kit System.
WHAT COLORS ARE CONSIDERED LEGAL?
White and Amber are the legal colors nationwide. Red and Blue are considered emergency vehicle lights and are not legal. Driving Laws can vary from state to state, please verify with your state laws prior to making your Halo color selection.
WHAT KIND OF LOOK AM I GOING FOR?
Each of ORACLE Halo styles offers a different look. CCFL Halos have a soft ambient glow and provide smooth output. They show up great at night, however they are not as pronounced in the daylight. SMD Halos offer an intense appearance and bright output to be clearly seen during the day and at night. These are the ORACLE most popular lights. Plasma Halos combine technologies of both CCFL and SMD, offering a highly intensive light output with a smooth glow. These are by far the ORACLE brightest Halos.
WHO CAN INSTALL THE DEMON EYES?
Any person having basic tools and some technical experience and understanding of 12V power can install the Demon Eyes. Normal installation time for a first-timer is 3-5 hours.
WILL INSTALLING THE DEMON EYES VOID MY WARRANTY?
Most dealerships will regard the Demon Eyes kit in the same manner as an aftermarket fog light kit, since these Halos can be installed without affecting the electrical system of the vehicle.
ORACLE Halo kits are shipped with "Plug-and-Play" connectors so you can plug the inverter directly into the parking light and turn on and off from the factory headlight switch.
HOW LONG WILL THESE REALLY LAST?
The ORACLE Halos are the highest quality Halos on the market!
SMD's have a lifetime of 60,000 hours of continuous use.
Plasma's have a lifetime of 100,000 hours of continuous use.
CCFL's have a lifetime of 50,000 hours of continuous use.
COLOR TEMPERATURE EXPLAINED
Color Temperature: 3000K
3000K emits golden yellow color and offers superior penetration power during adverse weather, especially in dense fog. The applications of the 3000K kit aim more towards secondary lighting apparatus such as high beam and fog lights. This is the color temperature that will catch all the attention on the road.
Color Temperature: 4300K
The light appears fairly white and has light yellowish hue when reflected off the road; identical to the OEM HID equipped vehicles. It is ideal for customers who do a lot of back road or canyon driving and need the optimal visibility.
Color Temperature: 6000K
6000K emits pure white light with very slight and barely noticeable tint of blue and purple. This color is for customers who are looking to improve both performance and looks of their headlights.
Color Temperature: 8000K
ORACLE 8000K has an approximately 3000lm output, which is about 3x the light output of the traditional halogen light and slightly less light output compared to the 6000K. While it has a bit lesser light output, it emits bluer light than the 6000K.
Color Temperature: 10000K
ORACLE 10000K has an approximately 2800lm output, which is more than 2x the light output of the traditional halogen light. 10000K produces a deep blue light output approaching violet and the blue is noticeably deeper than the 8000K.
Color Temperature: 12000K
This color temperature puts out a deep bluish violet light and is deeper colored than the 10000K. It is for the customer who is looking for the most extreme and most exotic looking light output.
