SuperSprings® are a unique and patented self-adjusting suspension stabilizing system for vehicles with rear leaf springs, designed to level loads and reduce body roll. SuperSprings® provide users extra load support and reduce body roll without compromising ride quality. They are manufactured using a variety of different sized springs to support multiple applications. All SuperSprings® are manufactured in the U.S.A. from SAE 5160H high grade, shot peened steel.
High Quality Steel
SuperSprings are manufactured from SAE 5160H (51% alloy, 60% carbon) high-grade steel, shot peened to relieve spring stress and extend product life
Self-Adjusting
SuperSprings use a dual-roller shackle. The shackle has an inner roller and an outer roller. As the factory springs extend to the rear, the roller facilitates the movement.
Simple Installation
Using our customized tools, SuperSprings installations can be completed in less than an hour. Installation does not require disassembly of factory spring assemblies.
Self-Adjusting
SuperSprings automatically activate as loads are applied. They work when they need to without the need for manual adjustments.
Stabilizing
SuperSprings reduce rear end sag and sway without compromising ride quality. They reduce body roll and provide greater driver control.
Suspension
SuperSprings work in conjunction with leaf spring suspension systems. They enhance the total suspension system, not just a single component.
Solution
SusperSprings are a solution to suspension complaints such as: sag, sway, and uneven loads. They’re used in a variety of applications.
SuperSprings are designed with various shackles. The shackles will have 1, 2, or 3 bolt holes. The bolt holes allow the installer to adjust the SuperSprings. The higher the hole, the more pre-load tension, allowing the SuperSprings to start higher on the spring rate curve. Below is a chart showing the various bolt positions for a two-hole shackle.
SuperSprings are available in light, medium, and heavy duty options for a variety of recreational applications: vehicles used to tow boats or trailers, as well as trucks setup with in-bed campers.
SuperSprings are available in light, medium, and heavy duty options for several commercial applications: crane trucks, tow trucks, vehicles with service bodies, buses, and more.
Not just a helper spring. They’re SuperSprings!
What is a helper spring? Well, plain and simple, a helper spring is any spring that helps/supports the original equipment suspension components of your vehicle. Learn more about helper springs here. SuperSprings are a helper spring by simple definition, but they are so much more! Not only do SuperSprings help level rear end sag, reduce body roll, and stabilize sway to generate greater driver control, they are a self-adjusting system – fit it and forget it! No accessories, no maintenance, just worry free level load carrying magic! They’re super!
SumoSprings® are a patented suspension product designed to enhance load carrying ability, stabilize sway, and improve overall driver control and ride comfort. They are maintenance free, do not leak air, and do not require airlines or compressors. SumoSprings® are manufactured in a variety of heights, diameters and densities to support multiple front and rear applications. They are manufactured from proprietary closed micro-cellular urethane providing a smooth and progressive spring rate.
Solo
One-piece unit attached on one side used as a replacement/upgrade to factory bump stops
Maxim
One-piece unit attached on top and bottom allows up to 50% expansion of original body height
Rebel
Two-piece unit attached on top and bottom using separate male and female pieces allows unlimited travel
Blue -40 density captures more air in the millions of micro-cellular bubbles, creating an air spring suitable for light and medium duty applications.
Black -47 density balances the amount of urethane and air bubbles to create an air spring suitable for light, medium, and heavy duty applications.
Yellow -54 density traps a smaller amount of air in the air spaces creating a harder air spring suitable for medium and heavy duty applications.
Ride Comfort
SumoSprings absorb harsh bumps and jolts to provide a smooth ride over uneven surfaces, highway joints, and other rough terrain.
Driver Control
By reducing harsh movements, SumoSprings give drivers better control of their vehicle. This increases safety and makes for more comfortable travel.
Stabilizing
SumoSprings have a progressive spring rate. They start to compress smoothly with less resistance and fight back with more resistance as they compress further.
Solution
SumoSprings increase comfort and control, help stabilize sway, and level loads. This makes SumoSprings a unique and complete suspension solution.
Trailer SumoSprings® utilize the same micro-cellular air springs as SumoSprings. They mount above trailer leaf spring assemblies and create a cushion between the axle and trailer frame. Trailer SumoSprings reduce wear and tear on body-frames, windows, doors, closets, mounted TV’s, and other components by minimizing bounce, hop, and sway associated with most tow-able RV’s. Reduced sway and bounce in the trailer results in increased driver control, ride comfort, reduced maintenance costs, and reduced overall cost of trailer ownership.
Reduce vibration
Trailers are known to ride rough. Trailers bounce, hop, sway, and shake as they are towed. This makes for an uncomfortable – sometimes scary – drive and causes excessive wear and tear to trailer components.
Reduce wear and tear
These vibrations affect all of the trailer components: tires, suspension, brakes, furniture, hinges, and more. Trailer SumoSprings absorb these vibrations and reduce the overall amount of wear and tear.
Reduce ownership costs
By reducing overall wear and tear, Trailer SumoSprings increase the life of each component of the trailer. This increase means reduced costs on maintenance and replacement parts resulting in a lower total cost of ownership.
Reduce failures
Trailer components can and do fail. Specifically, leaf spring assemblies. A leaf spring failure has the potential to destroy your trailer, or worse, jeopardize your family’s safety. Trailer SumoSprings increase safety by reducing the load on the leaf spring assembly.
Coil SumoSprings® improve the load leveling ability of original equipment front and rear coil springs. Manufactured from micro-cellular urethane, the material’s progressive spring rate creates a cushion effect, enhancing capacity and ride comfort. They install by simply being slid between the turns of the coil spring.
Better
Coil SumoSprings have been tested to increase the capacity of coil springs by 15% to 30%. This makes for better suspension; all from a simple and budget friendly product.
Suspension
Whether it is added weight (snow plow, bumper, bike rack, etc.) or coil springs worn out from use and age, Coil SumoSprings will enhance your suspension to give it the boost you need.
Increase
Coil SumoSprings increase driver control by reducing sway and providing tighter handling. These increases will result in a longer life span for your brakes, tires, and more.
Capacity
Coil SumoSprings are a great way to add capacity for applications such as a mini van loaded up with camping equipment, a sedan carrying a bike rack, a truck with a replacement bumper, and more.
SuperSway-Stops® are designed to provide additional stability for trucks equipped with auxiliary top overload leaf springs and air springs. SuperSway-Stops are manufactured from micro-cellular urethane. They have a progressive spring rate and provide additional resistance under greater loads.
Stop
SuperSway-Stops are designed to stop sway and reduce lean by filling the void between top overload spring and contact points on the chassis.
Sway
When air springs are used on vehicles with top overload springs, a greater distance between overload spring and chassis is created. This larger space leads to sway.
Stay
By filling the void with SuperSway-Stops, the top overload spring can engage earlier, reducing sway, and limiting lean around turns.
Super
SuperSway-Stops are made from the same micro-cellular urethane as SumoSprings. They allow the overload spring to engage, and then resist with more compression.
SuperCoils® are heavy duty replacement coil springs, designed to remedy sagging and overworked original equipment front and rear suspension coil springs. SuperCoils have a linear/constant spring rate consistent with other coil springs. SuperCoils actually replace original equipment, different from SuperSprings or SumoSprings that work in conjunction with and enhance original equipment.
Sagging
Coil springs will sag over time after repeated use. Eventually, the load carrying ability of any coil spring will reduce, presenting the need for a replacement.
Suspension
Whether your springs are sagging because of age or because of added speciality equipment (snow plow, bumper, winch, etc.), SuperCoils upgrade your suspension.
Simple
SuperCoils are similar to traditional coil springs. The difference is in the high quality steel and coil structure, making them a heavy duty and long term solution.
Solution
SuperCoils provide an easy and maintenance-free lift solution. SuperCoils can be installed in under two hours and are backed by the SuperSprings warranty.
