The warranty applies to manufacturing faults and material defects for 2 or 5 years depending on product from the date of purchase. CTEK Power, Inc. will, in its sole discretion, either provide customer with a new replacement product of the same or comparable model, or provide customer with a refurbished product. This warranty is void if the battery charger has been opened, handled carelessly or repaired by anyone other than CTEK Power Inc. or its authorized representatives.

All other warranties, including but not limited to any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are hereby expressly disclaimed, excluded and waived by customer to the fullest extent permitted by law. CTEK® - Comfort Indicator Pigtail

This pigtail is very handy for other type of battery charger plug. It could let me know the battery condition once I plug into the other wire and then I will know should charge battery or not.
