Drive Rite™ Serpentine Belt by Dayco®. This premium Belt is the best way to go for those looking for the highest quality replacement that offers supreme levels of quality, performance and reliability. Designed to provide a perfect fit for a hassle free installation, this reliable product can help you get you vehicle back on the road faster and easier.
Accessory drive belts wind their way around such components as the power steering pump, water pump, air conditioning compressor, and alternator propelling them when the engine is running. While older vehicles used separate V-belts for each component, newer vehicles have a single serpentine belt to drive them all. Dayco approaches the market differently from most of its competition, believing that one serpentine belt construction will not perform best with all applications.
This application-specific double-sided belt is specially designed for multiple accessory drives where the transmission of power from both sides of the belt is required. This product features the multiple rib design with straight rib profile that provides better belt-to-pulley contact reducing slippage thus delivering longer life compared to a conventional V-belt.
Built with a transverse groove design, the belt runs cooler and reduces rib cracking while providing increased flexibility in both normal and backside bending. Thanks to its highly fiber-loaded compound on both sides, the product dramatically increases load carrying requirements while reducing pulley misalignment noise. This application-specific belt is made with aramid reinforced EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer (M-class) rubber) compounds that ensures more than just OE required quality and superior durability for lasting service life.
