Luverne® - 5" SlimGrip Black Running Boards Installation Instruction

They are made right here in the USA with 5052 aluminum alloy to be strong, lightweight and highly resistant to corrosion. They are also coated in a textured black powder coat finish that not only enhances corrosion resistance but also helps hide minor scratches, scuffs and grime. For maximum traction on the trail or on the jobsite, each SlimGrip running board is built with expanded metal treads. These non-skid treads offer fleet-approved safety when entering or exiting your truck, and their metal design makes them highly durable. The open treads also allow dirt and snow to pass through, keeping the inside of your vehicle clean. In addition to safety, these aluminum running boards are also constructed to add an aggressive look to your truck. They feature a 5" width for a sleeker look compared to Grip Step running boards, and the hardened ABS end caps are angled for a rugged finish. SlimGrip running boards are also fast and easy to install. They mount with the VersaTrac system, using a universal channel and vehicle-specific brackets for a custom fit. Each set installs with no drilling required, and the brackets allow any set of running boards or side steps with the VersaTrac system to be installed on the vehicle without any additional brackets or hardware. This makes installation simple and allows for further customization opportunities in the future.

Excellent Product!

Luverne® 416078-4055151 - 5" SlimGrip Cab Length Black Running Boards

Completely happy with this product. Relatively easy to install. Solid and sturdy for 225LB driver. Design allows dirt and mud to drop through with no accumulation. Looks sharp. Would buy again.

Good Buy

Luverne® 416078-4055111 - 5" SlimGrip Cab Length Black Running Boards

These bad boys look great on my truck. I really enjoyed the quality of the brackets and metal. Installation was a bit more complicated than your typical basic tube style nerf bars. But well worth the time, to deal with that. Not quite sure about the plastic end caps but honestly they are cosmetic, if they break down and bust off you will still have a set of great looking functionality steps. I can scrape my boots and with the open grates on the step design it will all just fall right thru. I expect these to last long long time. Definitely a good buy.
