Installation

The electric motor is sealed to full-immersion IP 68 standards, meaning you can safely wash the dirt out of the engine compartment with a hose after a little fun in the mud. If you are traveling more than 20 mph or so, air flowing naturally through the radiator is more than enough to keep your engine cool, even with the A/C on. Your viscous-coupled belt-driven radiator fan is simply unnecessary, power-robbing extra weight most of the time. The only time you need extra cooling airflow is when stationary at traffic lights or when you're moving slowly, like in heavy traffic. Lose 20 or more ugly pounds of metal fan, hub, and viscous clutch assembly, and replace it with a Maradyne electric fan. Maradyne fans feature concentric rings that prevent the blades from flexing as they achieve maximum RPM. An electric fan installation might well cost no more than replacing your leaky or non-functioning viscous fan, so here's a chance not only to save money on the replacement, but also to save gas and improve your performance every day, by installing a Maradyne electric fan system.

Worth It)
I was running a 10" fan on the cooling system but then decided to upgrade to 12" size. This fan runs a lot smoother and quieter. The cycle time is shorter due to the amount of flow I am getting through my radiator, and the cooling system is where it needs to be now. Well worth the money spent.
