Monroe Gas-Magnum shocks are engineered to give you smoother driving stability and control on your truck or van. These shocks with their 1 3/8” bores, have up to twice the capacity compared to standard 1” bore shocks. Thanks to special modifiers the fluid reduces friction providing smoother rod reaction. They’re also equipped with a larger sintered iron piston that is much stronger than the traditional metal. The shock absorbers are nitrogen gas-charged as well for better tire-to-road contact and improved ride. A better valving range on shock compression and extension also helps provide a smooth, comfortable ride. Monroe Gas-Magnums are also equipped with a self-lubricating fluid seal designed to prevent loss of gas pressure without excessive wear.
