Installation

Installed LEDs and your turn signals are hyper flashing? The on-board computer signals that the lights have burnt out? Eliminate these problems with the Putco LED Light Bulb Load Resistor Kit! Consuming less power than the regular bulbs, LEDs are not recognized by the OBC as the normally operating lamps. A load resistor solves the problem by creating additional resistance and simulating the load of a regular filament bulb. When installing the product, don't forget that it can become extremely hot when operating. Design the circuit so that the resistor doesn't touch thin plastic or painted surfaces. Depending on the wattage of the LEDs, multiple load resistors may be required.
