Rear SES Rubber Helper Spring Kit (IHROA2) by Timbren®. This SES Suspension Upgrade fits the rear suspension truck. Each laser cut piece of steel is precision bent and powder-coated to ensure a quality fit. Engineered hollow rubber springs to deliver a progressive spring rate. In other words, the more weight that pushes down on the rubber springs the harder they work to prevent rear end sag. Whether you’re pulling a trailer or carrying a heavy load in the back of your SUV, hollow rubber springs adjust automatically to keep the vehicle level at all times. This SES Suspension Upgrade replaces the jounce stop on the frame. Its unique design ensures superb ride quality – loaded or unloaded. (There should be a 1/2" to 1-1/2" gap between rubber spring and axle to ensure unloaded ride quality. If the truck body is heavy, no clearance is necessary.) Unlike other auxiliary spring systems, the SES Suspension Upgrade guarantees the best of both worlds.

Don’t allow unnecessary stress to your suspension, causing rough ride, headlights aimed too high and all-around unsafe driving conditions. Use Timbren SES Suspension Upgrades to keep you level. All of steel brackets and disks are lazer cut before they are painted with a durable long lasting powder coat finish to ensure protection and long life. Timbren bets you have lots of things to do, don’t waste time airing up, airing down and all the other maintenance that goes along with airbags, lines & compressors. Timbren SES engages ONLY when you haul or tow and has zero maintenance, cause you have better things to do.
Timbren® Timbren Industries began in 1965 on the premise that suspensions could and should work better. That same year Timbren’s founder acquired the Canadian patent for rubber torsion suspensions. In 1968 Timbren introduced Aeon® rubber springs and began manufacturing SES (Suspension Enhancement System) suspension upgrade kits.

Worked Well
Timbren® GMRG25C - Rear SES Helper Spring Kit
I needed to pull an 18 ft trailer loaded with my airplane from Virginia to Oregon. Also included was a fully loaded truck bed with shop equipment on the trailer. I was limited on funds so I decided to just install these new bumpers without load leveler shocks. They worked perfectly leveling the truck up and provided very good handling characteristics even in severe side winds. They were fairly easy to install with very basic tools just be sure to use a dry spray lube and not grease or oil when inserting them into the brackets on the rig. Now, that the truck is empty I do have a bit of an axle jolt when they hit the axles over bumps but they keep the rig from rolling around like a pig in the corners. When I do install some new shocks the ride will be awesome.
