Class 5 Multi-Fit Square 5-1/2" Drop Rear Trailer Hitch (15510) by CURT®. Color: Black. The Weight Carrying Capacity is 15000 lbs, while the Tongue Weight is 1500 lbs, 16000/1600 lbs Weight Capacity with use of Weight Distribution System, and the Receiver Tube Opening Size is 2". Features multiple mounting holes to fit a variety of vehicles. When CURT came to the limits of towing capacity, CURT wanted to know what else was out there. What could CURT discover off the beaten path? So, CURT kept going. CURT class 5 Xtra Duty hitches begin a class of their own, beyond class 4 and beyond anything the standards dictate. They are designed for the hard road where only 1/2-ton, 3/4-ton and 1-ton pickup trucks and SUVs dare to tread.

Installation
CURT® - Trailer Hitches Installation TechniquesThey are capable of pulling almost any heavy-duty trailer, including toy haulers, dump trailers, logging trailers, gravity boxes, small yacht trailers and more. In drive to create a more powerful hitch, CURT has not neglected the finer details. CURT class 5 trailer hitches are welded with precision and go through multiple stages of cleaning to create a smooth surface that is ready to accept CURT co-cured finish. To protect them from corrosion, chipping and UV damage, these hitches are coated first in a liquid Bonderite coating and then finished in a high-quality black carbide powder coat. They come with grade 8 mounting hardware for solid installation and are backed with a one-year finish warranty and overall limited lifetime warranty.
No matter what you are towing, CURT is ready to provide you with a reliable trailer hitch that will serve you for years to come. CURT trailer hitches are put through rigorous testing before being deemed ready to tow. Each hitch is totally customized for a particular vehicle and is able to perform at its listed capacity. The trailer hitches by CURT are mechanically de-scaled and dipped in a liquid Bonderite® coating, covering the hitch inside and out to ensure long-term rust and corrosion.
